I am a sometimes PHP programmer who codes much less than he used to. I find the computer a much better “toy” than “tool” in my hands, as I have a hard time making myself stay on-task sitting here.

I am a Social and Political conservative whose sensibilities have been stomped on repeatedly by management at SO and I’m looking forward to a place that is perhaps more neutral or conservative on these topics.

I’m doubtful I’ll ever contribute to the actual coding of the new system, but hopeful that, as a member of the community, I’ll have some positive impact on the project.
