I’m Ross. I’ve been programming for near enough 10 years (although not to a particularly high level) - I started out in Pascal/Delphi and visual basic (the horror!), to move onto ML, Java and C++ in undergrad (in CS and Physics). I then did a Masters in Mathematical Physics and am now doing a PhD in Quantum Engineering, where I use a bit of Python (of which I’m not the biggest fan) for a few niche quantum languages. However, programming is neither what I’m best at (I’m also a bit rusty), or something I massively enjoy.

I am a mod on Quantum Computing SE, so I have some limited experience of modding and building small communities, so that (i.e. the non-programming side) might be what I’ll be more useful at. Unfortunately, this is now the final year of my PhD, so time is somewhat limited.

For something completely different, I enjoy martial arts, music and ice skating!
